Steven J. Fugelsang

Welcome to my homepage!

I am the Cybersecurity Program Director at the National Governors Association. A 2021 Cybersecurity Policy Fellow at The Aspen Institute, I am also an alumnus of Tufts University’s Master of Science program in Cybersecurity and Public Policy, offered jointly by The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the Department of Computer Science.

I previously served as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice (National Security Division), a legislative fellow in the U.S. Senate, an assistant general counsel on a presidential campaign, and an active duty officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG Corps).
